Northern Railway CCTC LDCE 2026: Firozpur 45 Posts

Northern Railway, Firozpur Division has issued a notification for selection to the post of Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk (CCTC) in Pay Level-3 against the 16-2/3% LDCE quota in the Commercial Department.

According to the notification, a total of 45 vacancies are proposed for eligible railway employees. The selection will be conducted through a written Computer Based Test (CBT) / Tablet Based Test (TBT).

1. Eligible Employees

The notification states that employees who have their lien maintained in Firozpur Division and are working in the Operating and Commercial Departments in Pay Level-1 and Level-2 may apply, provided they have a minimum of 2 years of regular service.

The minimum two-year service condition applies to all categories including UR, SC and ST.

2. Cut-Off Date for Service

The cut-off date for determining the minimum two years of regular service is the date of issue of the notification.

3. Educational Qualification

The employee must have passed 10th Standard (Matriculation) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or institution as the minimum educational qualification.

4. Employees Transferred From Other Divisions

Employees transferred from other divisions or departments, except the Operating and Commercial Departments, will be eligible only if they have completed at least two years of service in the Operating and Commercial Departments in Firozpur Division.

2. Fill in all required employee and service details carefully.
3. Attach the required self-attested documents/certificates.
4. Paste a recent passport-size photograph on the application.
5. The photograph must be attested by the concerned supervisor.
6. Sign the application as required.
7. Submit the application to the Personnel Department through the proper channel.
8. The application must reach the concerned office on or before 01 October 2026.

The written examination will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) / Tablet Based Test (TBT). There will be no physical question paper; questions will appear on the computer/tablet and candidates will mark their answers electronically.

• The written examination will be conducted by Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway through an Examination Conducting Agency provided by the Railway Recruitment Board.
• RRC/Northern Railway will issue a formal online admit card to eligible and willing employees.
• The admit card will contain the examination venue and reporting time.
• Employees should regularly check the RRC/Northern Railway website for updates.
• A practice/mock-test link will be made available on the RRC website.
• Candidates can use the practice link to understand how questions will appear and how answers will be marked.
• Both physical and biometric attendance will be recorded at the examination venue.
• There will be one-third negative marking.
